Why it is a particularly Merry Christmas for me this year.

It has taken 12 (often bonkers!) fundraising events in 21 months, the unrelenting enthusiasm and support of colleagues and friends (too numerous to list here!), lots of sleepless nights and the love and understanding of a truly wonderful husband….today I am pleased to announce that we have now raised £13, 725.33 for Gende Tesfa School in eastern Ethiopia. The charity I am Ambassador for – Partners For Change Ethiopia – now has enough money to continue funding the Breakfast Club for 75 of the most vulnerable children until June 2017. We have also built a sports ground and funded water-points in the community. Whoop whoop! So what is the next phase for 2017? Well, the next big dream is to fund a training-programme for the parents of the children at the Breakfast Club and give them a recyclable loan. If you would like to change a family’s life (or get together with a few friends/colleagues), a donation of £100 can do just that. Please make a donation here with a note saying “family to family project”:
